For example adaptive learning or individualized learning, but it can also use all of those things. Essentially personalized learning is how teachers should teach always. The goals we have while we are in the classroom with our students is for them to achieve as much as possible. We should be trying to achieve this by their strengths and weaknesses and we should be developing lessons that fit these needs.||Link|

Pacing and sequencing are key in this process; if a student cannot keep up with the pace of the class, they may fall behind, causing them to not learn to their full potential. Lastly, the idea of provided different material to assess and teach students is another important step. If the child cannot learn from the material the teacher has provided, then there needs to be some changes in instruction.||Link|
|6/15/2020 12:52:18||Matt Hare||Original definition||Personalized Learning is a instructional technique that is catered to a specific student. The instruction is driven by the student, who has the freedom to drive the learning through their own personal interests at an adjusted pace and varying instructional approaches to enhance the learning for the student.||Link|
|6/15/2020 12:56:04||Response to someone else's definition||I like that this definition is focused on the success of the student. The success of the student is why education exists, and personalized learning is one of the many ways we can set up our students to be successful inside and outside of the classroom.||Link|
